Venue

The Summer School Reasoning Web 2005 will take place at the University of Malta, which traces its origins to the founding of the Collegium Melitense in 1592. The University was originally situated in Valletta, the cultural, administrative and commercial centre of Malta, but moved to a modern campus, in Msida, about 3km away, in the 1970s, where the summer school will be held.

On campus standard facilities will be available including access to computing facilities and email. A buffet lunch will also be served at midday. Vegetarian meals are available. For other special dietary arrangements please inform the local organiser.

Principle accommodation will be in Sliema, another town in the immediate vicinity of the sea and harbours and a major tourist centre. The journey between between accommodation and university can be walked in about 30 minutes. There are also public buses, and for the summer school, a special shuttle service will be provided.

The main lectures will take place in the Engineering Lecture Theatre (see campus map building no 27).

Internet and computing facilities are in the CS building (building 24) on the first floor, labs A and B.

Lunch will be in the same building as the canteen (building 21)
